To live in a community where hunger does not exist.

Canstruction Miami will end hunger in our community by collaborating with community partners, Miami Dade County public schools, Miami Dade County Board of Commissioners, Local Artist, private businesses, governmental agencies, and individuals. By uniting our resources, we will collect food in large quantities, to donate to our local food banks and help the homeless, neglected, abandoned, abused and all people in distress.

Canstruction is a competition. Competitors are asked to create an innovative sculpture made out of cans of food. These installations will be on display at the Dolphin Mall from Feb 2-11, 2019.

At the end of the exhibition all food items will be donated to the local food banks.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

1. People’s Choice
2. Best use of Labels
3. Structural Ingenuity
4. Best Meal
5. Original Design
6. Most Cans
